In the name Vortune lies the philosophy of our brand
Classical Latin culture used a single word to indicate the concept of destiny and the concept of prosperity/wealth: this word is “fortuna” and it is used in the famous expression “Homo faber Fortunae Suae”.
The phrase reminds us how people are the architect of their own destiny and success and how their knowledge is not only contemplative, but functional in terms of action and of the construction of the world.
It’s only a short step from the Latin Fortuna to the English Fortune and to incorporate that concept and sound, the brand name sees the initial F replaced by the letter V, which in German is pronounced as 'F'.
And so we have VORTUNE, which through the first letters of three German words can also be read in another way: VORTeile (added value) UNd (and) Engagement (reliability), which is exactly what our consultancy and services offer you.
